Bryan Mercer, CC '07 was one of the five original participants in the 2007 hunger strike. He dropped out of the hunger strike on November 15 after being faced with forced medical leave by the university.
Mercer is now a director at a non-profit that advocates for working class people through community organiziation and campaign support.
