Spring
- The first Glass House Rocks is held in Lerner Hall
- Michelle Oh elected President of the CCSC
- The Sachems prank Lerner Hall with saffron sheets in the style of Christo's "The Gates"
- Grad students strike during finals for the second year in a row; this time joined by sympathizers from Yale. A giant inflatable rat is positioned outside the 116th Street gates.
- Robert Kraft is the keynote speaker at Columbia College Class Day
