Computing Research Facilities (CRF) is an office in the Computer Science department responsible for the maintenance of computer systems (including the CLIC and MRL labs), e-mail, and the departmental phone service. They control many cool resources, but make it very difficult to actually get anything useful out of them.
Finding the CRF Office
The CRF staff is an elusive bunch. Their office is located within Mudd, accessible through the campus level lobby, south of the elevators. Once you get past the pair of entrance doors and into the CS department, immediately turn left (your only option) and take your first right. When you reach the windows overlooking a picturesque Columbia garbage dump, you will see a set of locked double doors on your right. Bang on these doors until someone lets you in.
