Usage
{{culpa-also|professor-id}}
Where professor-id is the uniquely assigned number for the professor on culpa. To find a professor's professor-id:
- Go to culpa
- In the "Search" box on the right side of the screen, type the name of the professor and click "Go"
- Find the correct professor among the results and click the "view all reviews" link.
- The professor ID is contained in the URL. For example, with Philip Kitcher, the URL is
http://www.culpa.info/?root=psearch&process=viewprof&prof=428&target=philip%2520kitcher
. In the URL, we see prof=428. Therefore Philip Kitcher's Culpa professor id is 428, thus the template on his page reads:{{culpa-also|428}}
Troubleshooting
Yeah... I don't know how to work this. I try posting {{culpa-also|http://culpa.info/?root=dept&process=viewprof&prof=63&dept=9}} for Gulati and it just comes up as unparsed text. Little help? Nonsensical 17:00, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- I think it's not working because of the characters in the URL, maybe "?" or "&" or some combination of those characters. It's working now for people to specify a professor number and department number. For example: {{culpa-also|63|9}}. − Reaganaut 18:05, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
