Triathlon is a club sport started during the 2006-07 academic year. Triathletes are encouraged to compete in a variety of triathlons during the school year including several indoor triathlons during the winter. Most of the training is done individually but the team will usually meet insanely early around nine every Friday and Saturday for group runs or bike rides. The season culminates in an Ivy League championship which is the New York City Triathlon that occurs annually every August.
