Richard Howard CC '51 is a poet who teaches writing at Columbia. He won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1969.

While a student he edited the Columbia Review and was in the Philolexian Society. After graduation he matriculated to GSAS but only remained a graduate student for one year.
