The Van Rensselaer Poetry Prize is awarded to a Columbia University degree candidate who is deemed the author of the best example of English lyric verse.
Among its notable recipients are poet John Berryman and Catholic writer Thomas Merton.
Submission restrictions
No more than 3 poems, totaling not more than 10 pages
