Laura Anne "Lauraburger" Leuenberger is CC '10's leading megafauna activist. She went missing second semester of her junior year and returned claiming that she had studied abroad in South Africa, although there has never been independent verification of this claim. Leading alternative theories are that she went to Antarctica to save the polar bears or that she was kidnapped and tortured by being forced to listen to the theme song from The Office until she broke, acquiescing to demands to abandon the noble polar bear for the savage penguin .
