Brownie's Cafe is located in the basement of Avery Hall, and is also accessible from Fayerweather Hall. It has great little salads, baked goods, and some interesting coffee flavors. Typically, it's populated by architecture students. They only take cash here since it's not an official Columbia Dining Services location, but is instead independently operated, similar to Alice's International Cafe in IAB.

Formerly operated as "Tom's Cafe", named after the elderly white-haired proprietor who could often be seen overseeing the work.

Operating Hours As of July 14, 2011, Brownie's says they will be open all summer, 9-5.
