Dorothy Marie Miner Law '62 GSAPP '72 was counsel to the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and, among her other achievements, devised the legal framework to allow Lower Manhattan's 17th century street network to be landmarked. She passed away in 2008.
Her father, Dwight C. Miner CC'26 was a history professor at the university.
