IvyGate was a gossip blog founded by Columbia alums Chris Beam and Nick Summers. One of its past editors was Columbia student Dan D'Addario. As its name implies, it reported on stories from around the Ivy League, usually by scanning through school newspapers and blogs.
IvyGate was partially responsible for the 2013 Admissions Essay Leak.
In 2018, the site was taken offline after three years of inactivity. Archives of the site are still viewable through the Wayback Machine.
