Katori Hall CC '03, a playwright, screenwriter, producer, actress, and director, was the 2023 Class Day Speaker for Columbia College. She is also a winner of a Pulitzer Prize for Drama and an I. A. L. Diamond Award.
She majored in African-American studies and Creative Writing and lived in John Jay at one point.
