Free Culture @ Columbia is an anti-copyright group, which opposes the RIAA and MPAA's attempts to curb file sharing.
It was founded by Brendan Ballou in 2007.
Among its activities has been the development of CU-LATOR, a Mac-based utility that blocks oversight of student internet use, and the distribution of flash drives with Core Curriculum texts.
