Chris Beam CC '06 is, along with Nick Summers, co-editor of IvyGate. While at Columbia, he worked on The Blue and White and was a writer of the 112th Varsity Show. Hailing from Newton, Mass., Beam now works for Slate in Washington, DC. He is the son of obnoxious Boston Globe columnist Alex Beam.
