Kian Tajbakhsh Arch '93 is an Iranian-American urban planning expert and social scientist. His credentials include a PhD in urban planning and policy from GSAPP. He was jailed in Iran until 2007, when PrezBo's threat to grill Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his detainment during the latter's campus visit led to Tajbakhsh's preemptive release.
