Grades are what most Columbia students spend most of their time thinking about.
Possible grades include:
- A+, A, A-... Excellent performance
- B+, B, B-... Satisfactory
- C+, C, C-... Fair (see also Gentleman's C)
- D, Poor, effectively a failure
- F, Fail
- UW, Unofficial Withdrawal
- W, Withdrawal
- R, Registration credit
