Teaching
Prof. Edwards gives good lectures, but you can easily get all the information from his slides, which are fantastic.
Modeling for McDonald's Taiwan
Over the summer of 2006, Prof. Edwards served as a model for a Taiwanese McDonald's campaign to promote a new fish sandwich. He got the gig through his wife, an illustrator for children's books, who was meeting with the ad agency for an unrelated reason when they, noting her Western last name, inquired if she had an American husband who would be interested in modeling for their next campaign. They ended up dressing him up as an Eskimo for some reason and put him on ads all over Taiwan. He describes the experience on his website.
