Tony Kushner CC '78 is a playwright who wrote Angels in America and won a Pulitzer Prize. Angels in America was later parodied in the 1994 Varsity Show as "Angels at Columbia".

Kushner won a John Jay Award in 1994, and spoke at the 2004 CC Class Day.
