George Stephanopoulos CC '82 was a Rhodes Scholar, an advisor to Bill Clinton, and is now a television news host.
Stephanopoulos may have been one of the first residents of East Campus. He graduated summa cum laude as salutatorian with a degree in political science. He returned in 1997-1998 as an assistant professor of poli sci.
He won a John Jay Award in 1993, and gave the 2003 CC Class Day speech.
