Lydia Goehr is a popular philosophy professor known for the quality of her teaching. In 2005, she received a Columbia University Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching and in 2008 was a recipient of the GSAC's Faculty Mentoring Award. Her classes often incorporate material by Arthur Danto.
