Matt Scarola CC '08 was a prominent Columbia Parliamentary Debater who served on the American Parliamentary Debate Association's Executive Board and as one of its alumni trustees. Scarola originally transferred to Columbia from Boston College and, in a rare move, successfully petitioned to be excused from completing most Core Curriculum requirements. He is currently pursuing a law degree at Harvard.
