The mission of the Barnard Columbia Undergraduate Public Health Society is to educate the undergraduate community on public health issues, to support undergraduate public health initiatives, and to serve as a liaison between the Columbia undergraduate community and the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health.

Purpose Statement

Section 1. BCUPHS will increase public health awareness in the undergraduate community by hosting lectures, workshops, and fundraisers and by collaborating with other on-campus organizations to raise awareness about public health issues relevant to that organization.

Section 2. BCUPHS will advocate for students to explore public health issues through research with the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health and the Earth Institute and will aid students in their search for topics, contacts, and resources.
