The Columbia College Committee on Honors, Awards, and Prizes (COHAP) includes three faculty representatives. Its responsibilities include the final selection of Columbia College students nominated or eligible for undergraduate honors, awards, and prizes, including College (Latin) honors and departmental honors. These include selection of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, and election to Phi Beta Kappa. The committee works in close concert with departmental Directors of Undergraduate Studies.
