Francine du Plessix Gray BC '52 is a writer who has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Originally a transfer student from Bryn Mawr College, she majored in Philosophy and won Barnard's Putnam Creative Writing Award. In 2006, she returned to give the school's Class Day address.
