Campo was an Italian restaurant on Broadway between 112th and 113th Sts., just south of Milano Market. At night the restaurant becomes a bar, and as of 2009 it had become a major gathering place for members of Greek life, with over a dozen fraternity and sorority events in the 2009-10 academic year.
It replaced the very mediocre Café Pertutti, which shut down in February 2008. Pertutti was widely disliked for its rude waitstaff and small, overcooked pasta dishes. There were even reports of flies buzzing around the fare.
