Chris Riano, GS '07, was a University Senator for the School of General Studies. He comes from Washington, D.C. and majored in political science and American studies, while also having a career as a model.

Chris is a Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia Law School where he teaches constitutional law and higher education law. As University Senator from 2006 - 2007, he was the chair of the Student Affairs Committee. Riano is the founding chair of the Board of Visitors to the Student Affairs Committee of the University Senate. He is a co-chair of the Recent Alumni Leadership Committee.

As student, he famously matched the GS Senior Gift in 2007.[1]
