The University of Toronto is one of Canada's most prestigious institutions of higher learning. While McGill is often called "the Harvard of Canada" and Queen's is somewhat more like Princeton, it's hard to know where to place the U of T, which sort of combines the fake-gothic architecture, Oxbridge-style residential college pretension, and overall national prestige level of Yale with a larger urban setting more like Penn's. But since Toronto is actually a public university and Penn is often confused with one, we'll go with the comparison to the latter.
