The Earth and Environmental Engineering (EEE) Department is the newest department in SEAS, founded in 2003. Amusingly, per the University Statutes, the EEE Department is The Henry K. Krumb School of Mines. SEAS of course was founded as the School of Mines, which in turn was named after Mr. Krumb, until the Mines School was subsumed into the School of Engineering (which became SEAS, and subsequently the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science), where it lives on as the EEE Department.

  • Met.E. - a professional degree in Metallurgical Engineering
  • E.M. - Engineer of Mines
  • Eng.Sc.D. - Doctor of Engineering Science in Environmental Engineering
  • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (administered by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences)
