The Office of Civic Action and Engagement (CAE) was the newest office in the Division of Student Affairs as of its creation in 2012. The office was functionally the same as its predecessor, the Office of Student Group Advising, but had taken on the responsibility of supporting "service-learning" programming. It also advised the Student Governing Board and the Interschool Governing Board.

In 2013, it was merged into the Office of Student Engagement.
