Vivek Ramakrishnan is a member of the Class of 2016 and the Vice-President for Policy on the Columbia College Student Council (CCSC). He sometimes holds office hours at 1020 and is known to pretend like he doesn't care about anything while actually really caring. He and CCSC President Ben Makansi started a political revolution enough to make Bernie Sanders orgasm when their political party, Freedom, Liberty and Freedom, upset the establishment and the millionaires and billionaires to rock the institution of CCSC to its core.
Many of his accomplishments deal with increasing accessibility and affordability at Columbia. One of his signature achievements at Columbia was to secure funding subsidies from Dean Valentini and Dean Boyce for Senior Week, thereby making it a more affordable week for hundreds. He also led the charge on ameliorating the toilet paper crisis on campus by instituting the much beloved 3-ply system.
He is a Beta Bro. He loves the Milwaukee Bucks and never stops talking about Wisconsin. He is also a star member of the Columbia Ping Pong Team and was rumored to have killed a man with his forehand.
