The Columbia Fencing team is one of the best in Ivy League history. In fact, it has won more NCAA Fencing Championships and more Ivy League Fencing Championships than any other team. Both the men's and women's teams are the 2007 Ivy League champions, and the team has together taken the NCAA championship in 1951, 1952, 1954 (tie), 1955, 1963, 1965, 1968, 1971 (tie), 1987, 1988, 1989, 1992, and 1993. They're one of the few consistently good teams Columbia has.
