Roar-ee is the current name of the mascot of the Columbia Lions that was introduced on October 15, 2005 at homecoming. The name was chosen from a "Name the Mascot" contest that attracted over 200 entries. The Lion mascot itself was first revealed in 1910.
Roar-ee is available for events, like weddings and bar-mitzvahs, by calling 212-854-8327 or emailing das2145@columbia.edu.
