Flor de Mayo is a Peruvian/Chinese restaurant (the menu is half Peruvian, half Chinese) on Broadway near 101st Street. It's just one of an increasingly popular breed of Chinese/South American restaurants that have colonized the upper reaches of the Upper West Side.
The restaurant serves excellent roast chicken, which you can have delivered right to your doorstep, tender and spicily seasoned, for only $7. Otherwise, skip the Chinese, and go for the delicious "godly" Peruvian specials. Thankfully, the chef has avoided fusion dishes.
