I really tried hard with Ajanta, as I live around the corner (far from the real places) and I'm a big fan of Indian/Pakistani food. I gave it three tries over the past two months, each time with something totally different off the menu and each time the same result: absolutely horrible. Sure, it's edible, but name a Indian food restaurant in New York City (or anywhere else in the country) that serves worse food...
