Robert R. Livingston, King's College 1764, did many notable things upon graduating. He played an active part in the American Revolution and the Constitutional Convention, then served as Chancellor of New York. Under President Jefferson, he negotiated and then secured the Louisiana Purchase. Wallach Hall was originally named Livingston Hall after him.
