Julia Kalow CC '08 is the salutatorian of the Class of 2008. She is from Newton, Massachusetts, and double-majored in Chemistry and Creative Writing. She has also written for the Blue and White, played flute for the Columbia University Wind Ensemble, and dances.
Kalow won a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and will go on to pursue a PhD in organic chemistry at Princton, and teach at the university level.
