Awarded to the member of the graduating class who has attained the highest standards of achievement in intellectual property studies and writing.
Harper, CLS '52, was a partner at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto (an intellectual property boutique). As an associate, he was involved in the litigation over the ENIAC patent, one of the earliest significant computer patents. [1]
Outside of the law, he was president of the Metropolitan Opera Club.
