Columbia Area Volunteer Ambulance (CAVA) is Columbia's ambulance service, and the preferred mode of transportation for inebriated freshmen looking for a ride to St Luke's Hospital.
You can reach it by dialling *99 on a ROLM phone.
CAVA is also a verb in Columbia slang. For example, you might get so drunk that you need to be cava'ed.
