The Dean of Columbia College is the highest-ranking official in Columbia College and is the head of academics and admissions for the college.[1] The dean reports directly to the University President as well as the Board of Trustees.
The current Dean of Columbia College is Michele Moody-Adams, who took over as the fifteenth Dean of Columbia College in July 2009, after Austin Quigley stepped down from the position after fourteen years. [2] Dean Moody-Adams is also the Vice-President for Undergraduate Student Life and is a full member of the University Senate as well as the Columbia College Alumni Association.
