Kamyar Cyrus Habib CC '03 was a Rhodes Scholar. At Columbia, he majored in English and MEALAC, graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude, and continued his English studies at Oxford and then Yale Law. In addition to the Rhodes, he has also won Truman and Soros Fellowships, interned for three U.S. Senators, and has written op-eds for several major newspapers. A second-generation Iranian-American, he has been blind since age nine and has a black belt in karate. He currently practices law in Seattle, where he is from.
