Kavita Sharma is the dean of the Center for Career Education. She officially became dean in 2007 after spending more than a year in the same position in an interim capacity. Sharma holds a master's in economics, politics of the world economy, from the London School of Economics, and a B.Sc., politics and international relations, from Southampton University. Before coming to Columbia, she worked for the Voluntary Service Overseas.
