Columbia runs three Summer High School Programs through the School of Professional and Cross-Disciplinary Studies (née Continuing Education): one on campus, one in Barcelona, and one in Jordan. The program brings in high school students from around the world.
Actual Columbia students are often annoyed by the High School Program (HSP) students, as they move in packs like locusts, are incredibly loud and messy, and tend to walk around campus like they own the place. The one piece of solace is that almost none of them will actually get into Columbia.
