Soulaymane Kachani is the current Vice-Dean for Academic Programs for SEAS and an associate professor of professional practice in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. In his role as Vice-Dean, he is responsible for all academic programs at SEAS, both graduate and undergraduate. Columbia Video Network also reports to him. Kachani received his MS and PhD in operations research from MIT.
In addition to his role at SEAS, he is also the Chief Strategy Advisor of the Strategic Capital Allocation Group, a multi-billion dollar investment management firm in Boston.
