The Columbia University Players (more commonly known as CU Players) is a theater group on campus, recognized by the Activities Board at Columbia. CU Players performs non-musical and non-Shakespeare acts that are open to the entire Columbia community.

History

CU Players was founded in 1906 and were the original planners of the Varsity Show. After the Varsity Show was founded as its own entity in the following years, CU Players faded out of existence for several years. The group was revived in 2006 and has been active on campus ever since.
