The International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) is the office that helps international students with any issue regarding their stay in New York while attending Columbia. Ostensibly, it also exists to help international student acclimate themselves to the culture of the United States, through programming such as an international student orientation (among others). In reality, however, most students use the office solely for assistance in securing the proper visa status to remain in the US to either work or attend school.
The ISSO is located in International House. The entrance is on Riverside Drive.
