Jonathan Siegel CC '08 was chair of the Student Governing Board from 2007 - 2008.

Siegel graduated from St. Andrew's School in Boca Raton, FL. His father is Mark A. Siegel CC '65.

At Columbia, Siegel was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude with a major in Mathematics-Economics in 2008. After graduation, he joined Teach for America. Siegel received a master's in education from Fordham University.

Siegel was a 2010 fellow with the New Leaders Council.
