99 Columbians is a photographic art project that was started in fall 2009 by CC students Bennett Hong and Angela Radulescu. The project aimed to photograph ninety-nine Columbia students from differing parts of campus. The project started out with just two members, but eventually grew to encompass a team of closer to seven.
The project was completed in the spring of 2010 and was put online. At this time, it caught the attention of the Columbia College Student Council and Engineering Student Council, who then provided additional funding to the group to continue the work.
