Scanners are notoriously hard to come by at Columbia, but there are a few locations that offer scanner access to students:
- First-floor computer lab of Barnard's Lehman Library, one scanner for a Mac and one for a PC. They work well, and there's cost to use them.
- Butler 305 (the Electronic Text Service) has many different types of scanners, all of which are free. The room closes at 6pm daily.
- SIPA's Lehman Library (in the basement of IAB) has scanners at several of its computer stations, which are free to use.
