Rushal Rege SEAS '14 is from Closter, New Jersey and is a Mechanical Engineering Major. He is an active member of the South East Asian Community, and he was the President of Club Zamana in his junior year. In his senior year, Rushal ran with the Executive Board Party PSet 150 and was elected as the Engineering Student Council Vice President of Student Life. He is also a member of the EWB Morocco team.
Student Council
Despite it being his first year on council and having to manage the 150th anniversary of SEAS, Rushal rose to the challenge and planned an excellent year of events for the student body. This included:
- Passport to Columbia, in collaboration with CCSC
- Homecoming Weekend, in collaboration with CCSC, SGA, and GSSC
- Got Fu’d 2013
- Basketball Mania, hosted by the Columbia Athletics Department
- Engineering Icons Series: Ratan Tata, co-hosted by the Columbia Engineering Alumni Association
- Columbia’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, in collaboration with CCSC, SGA, and GSSC
- ‘Tis the SEASon
- CEAA-NY Outings
- Engineering Week
- SEAS the Day
