Emma Sulkowicz, CC '15, was a visual arts major from New York City. She is most well-known for her senior thesis. She attended Dalton.
Since launching Carry That Weight, not only did she become a well-known campus activist, but recieved a significant amount of national media attention for her controversial project. She has been profiled, or her story has been referenced, in almost every well-known national news media publication.
After graduating, she released "This Is Not A Rape," a video project that was covered by websites like The Guardian, Bustle, and NYMag.
